Happy Birthday To A Four Year Old On Your Last Day Of School

Why do parents plead for the last day of school? I have no idea? I guess maybe I just love being home with my three year old a little too much. He goes to pre-k five days a week from 8:30-11am. Some days I do feel like it isn’t enough time. But I also feel a full day would be too much on him.

How ironic is it that A‘s last day of school falls on his birthday this year. He beyond loves his teacher so this was a great day. He’s doing a Summer program with her so it isn’t a huge bust since he wakes up wanting to go to school.

It’s not everyday you turn four years old. Especially to a dinosaur loving four year old. This past year has been crazy. In between the temper tantrums, talking back and just wanting to do things on his on its been a whirlwind. Three years old was definitely quite the year. I really sit back and think would I really want to do this again? Aside from giving him a sibling? Ehhh… But yes I would. June 12th of this year will be especially memorable this year. Not only does he share my fathers birthday but also gets to start his day with the last day of school.

We had to get this cake. The funny thing as I was walking out of the store the baker says “The things we do for our kids. Based on the tee I was wearing” What If I was a die hard Jurassic Park Fan”?

My Top

I do get sad that he is growing but my heart is so full knowing that he is healthy, we are able to work through his ADHD and be able to be a stay at home mama and be there for him when he needs it.

Today was an even bigger day for A. His moving on ceremony at his school was today. Next year he will be moving to his second year of pre-k before kindergarten. Being able to see how much your child grows in a year is amazing.

It was a whopping 95 degrees today which was so harsh on all the kiddos since the ceremony was outside. was a typical four year old and was not into performing any school anthems. He couldn’t wait to get out of there. Like we all were.

Before we left he got to take a picture with his teacher who he adores. (He’ll be in for a loud awaking when he discovers there”s no school for a while and won’t be seeing her) He will be eligible for an extended school program this Summer which his teacher will be the director of. Thank goodness. He talks about her all the time lol.

Happy Tuesday to all the mamas.. Happy Summer
