Happy Monday friends. Thrifty Haute Mom is back. On a whim I decided to go out with my in laws and husbands cousins for dinner and I was so glad I did. I headed out to the soft opening of Victor’s Italian Cuisine. I’ve never been to a grand or soft opening of anything. I decided to add a section to THM per my about page. Adding some fresh local places that are great for mama’s that are stylish and within the a great price. This place has been around for a while now but they just moved and revamped. They just relocated down the street to 1639 Broadway Saugus, MA 01906 from their original location. Their new location is so spacious and great for dining or lounging.
They have included more bar and cook staff which is always great. With the new revamp, its great for a moms night out or even a blogger dinner.
When waiting for service myself and my mother in law were able to have a few words with the owner. I advised him I was a blogger and was interested in doing a review since I like to feature more small businesses and guides for myself and my audience. When speaking with him he had stated ” It’s so good to hear from someone one like you. People love coming to our restaurant but never post about it.” I was kind of astonished. No matter what type blogger you are you know even if you’re a stay a home mom, work at home mom, a mom who works etc a blog is a full time job no matter what. In between social media between, posting content, pictures etc, scheduling what you need you always know you need to keep up with things. With this stage of things people are always online. You would just figure negative or positive they would post about it.
Towards your left when you first walk in, they have a lounge which you can sit and sip. There were tons of people having drinks while they waited for their tables too.
While I waited I had a chocolate martini.

The bar staff were so friendly and this drink tasted liked a spiked chocolate milk. After being seated things ran pretty quick. They have tons of food options available which is always great.
The atmosphere was great for a hip night out or a low key family night. The noise level was also great. It was busy but you can’t expect anything less from a new establishment. As a parent, if I had to bring my three year old to a future visit it would work perfectly. I would just wait a while for things to settle a bit beforehand. It’s definitely neutral based. If your North of Boston or planning a trip to the Boston area this is a great place to check out.
