Thanksgiving Nail Colors

Thanksgiving is just one day away. In between cooking, football games and welcoming family your routine is completely diminished. Forgetting about me time is always the case. Nails are always a girls best friend. Aren’t they? I always have the issue of once my nails do grow they thin out and just break. The only thing that has ever worked was taking nail vitamin but, after childbirth my body became allergic to gelatin. What pregnancy does to us!  I will say, the one thing that has worked has been acrylic nails. No matter how bad they really are for you they somehow they tend to keep my nails from breaking even after removing acrylics. We all know getting your nails professionally done can actually become costly. For some it may not be in the budget. Your talking at least $25 per set. Some places may even charge extra for certain designs etc. Then to maintain can cost you more. At least having a great mani can help your outfit look festive.

In honor of Thanksgiving THM has come up with our top five Thanksgiving nail colors.

  1. Essie ($9 at dermastore.com): This season newest trending color is of course maroon. For the dark-colored lovers this one is it. It’s not too girly but it goes with almost anything this Fall.
  2. WhimBrown ($2.97 at Ulta.com): You always need a Taupish brown in your collection. Thanksgiving is all about browns and oranges. You can’t go wrong with this color.
whim23. Orly Naughty($8.50 at JC Penny): This color is a great dark purple. Very dark. Hence why it is one of my faves.purple4. Whim Fall ($2.97 at Ulta.com): This color has a glossy finish. This is great to compliment your outfit. This is the type of polish that wears like a UV gel like nail color. All you need is the polisher and top coat like many other gel like polishes. orangenail-color-25. Sally Hansen Miracle Gel Duo ($14.99 at Target): Personally I have used this line and was impressed. It didn’t last the whole two weeks but for the price I didn’t see a problem. This line actually lasted longer than a regular mani color. Target and sometimes CVS offer this duo at times which is great. It ends up being deal since sometimes for just a single color it’s almost $10. For the busy budget mama this one is definitely a go. Plus they have tons of colors to choose from.targetnails
